Joulu is certain to think he will always get snow, as the very same week he went outdoors for the first time, he experienced snow.  Lucky puppy!

And, finally, a little video of Joulu outside for the first time.  Suvi is not exactly gentle with him - but then if he had siblings, they would play pretty rough too.  She knows what she's doing.  I love how confident he is!

The puppies are growing fast, enjoying time in the outside pen (in between the rain, that is) and starting to enjoy a varied diet with scrambled eggs and cheese recent tastes.  In case you're wondering, both were a big hit.

Time marches on and suddenly it's worming week again.  If you have been watching on Facebook, you will have seen that the puppies have spent a bit more time in the outdoor pen this week.  When it wasn't too hot, that is.  Wow, I feel sorry for these ice-loving pups this summer.  With our unexpected, unusual and unrelenting 30-degree weather, they must think they were born straight into hell!  The frozen water bottles are on regular rotation.  And the fan is on double-time.  All the dogs are grateful for that.

These are wiggly, waggy pups, but everyone will be very pleased to know that we managed to get some photos.  Thanks mainly to cheese.  This is normally the week the puppies get their first taste of the beloved training treat.  Suffice to say they approve.  They also approve of scrambled eggs, in which I am delivering their wormer.  They love the eggs so much that the wormer just sneaks right past.

The puppies have a big crowd of visitors coming this weekend.  I hope they are bracing themselves for the cuteness because their photos don't actually do justice to these puppies.

No fanfare, and the most basic of puppy photos for their 5-week portraits, but I've been at work all day and I won't say where Jay has spent most of his day.  Let's just say he appears to have had a bad prawn.  Or two.  Or something.  Luckily I have not been so afflicted, just busy busy.  No profile shots today, then - I'm thinking I was fortunate to get what I did, frankly.  Perhaps we'll try again one day when Jay is feeling a little more over the weather.
