Joulu has reached that magical milestone of 8 weeks old and is as fluffy as can be and as cute as a very cute thing can get. Suvi could probably do with a break by now, as all mums by the time the puppies are 8 weeks old, but she won't be getting one. Mind you, she has no compunction in putting him in his place when necessary and letting him know when enough's enough. Perhaps he'll grow up with some lovely Lappy manners evident before the age of 2 or 3 years. Well, you never know.
He met the cats when he first moved downstairs, and now he has also met the rabbits! And he has learned to play fetch. I wonder how long the novelty of that will last...
He has been out visiting and had his first vaccinations. He hasn't had an eye test yet as they're not available for the foreseeable future, but he will have one when he is able.

| Good boy in the car There's something pretty special about a cream puppy and something else pretty special about a single puppy. So I think that makes Joulu doubly special, and I have really enjoyed watching him grow up so far. Good luck, pup! (Or good luck, Suvi, perhaps.) |
