At last the video has uploaded! So, it's now a couple of days old, but still cute. After the first few days of puppies suckling colostrum, the dam's milk comes in and they stick in properly. Out come the little tails, wagging if you're lucky. Check out Honey's tail sticking out at a most amusing angle.
In the meantime, the daily weights were taken today and the winner of the most humongous puppy at 1 week of age is.... (drumroll) ... Honey! She's far and away ahead of the rest, which reminds me of her mother who was also the biggest of her litter for most of the time they lived here. The race for 2nd place was more or less a tie, as 1 gram is neither here nor there when it comes to the postage scales that the little wrigglers are weighed on.
